Back in the magical 1980s, when I was just a knee-high 9-year-old, my days were spent on the ultimate quest—completing my World Cup sticker album. The shiny badges and team logos weren't just stickers; they were like collecting bits of pirate gold. Every swap felt like striking treasure, especially when it meant getting one step closer to completing the album. The thrill of finding a shiny was second only to the bliss of an ice cream sundae on a hot day. 

The height of my sticker collecting career was trying to find Diego Maradona, the legend himself. Every packet I opened, I hoped to see his face staring back at me, ready to be stuck next to my bed, where I could dream of football greatness. But more often than not, I'd find another player I had about ten duplicates of—seriously, if I had a sticker for every time I got another one of those, I could have wallpapered my room!
